Compliance Manager – Andover, UK – Hybrid

CloudPay is looking for a highly motivated Compliance Manager to support the rapid expansion of the organisation. This role will be responsible for managing our contractual risks, ensuring compliance, and mitigating potential liabilities across the organisation.

Reporting to the Director, Compliance & MLRO, this varied role will act as the point of contact for our customers compliance related queries, leading investigations into compliance incidents – implementing measures to prevent recurrence, managing customer audits, and assisting with customer due diligence.

The ideal candidate will have a generalist compliance background, with experience working in a fast-paced global organisation. This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to improve our customer’s experience

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
• Assess contract risks and work with relevant stakeholders to develop strategies to mitigate potential liabilities
• Ensure that contractual compliance requirements are communicated to the relevant teams and monitor adherence
• Identify improvements to internal policies and procedures to ensure, where possible, that our policies align closely with the requirements of our customers
• Lead investigations into customer complaints, compliance incidents, or allegations of misconduct. Take appropriate corrective actions and implement measures to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Implementations, Operations, and Customer Success, to align customer compliance efforts with business objectives and ensure a cohesive approach to compliance management.
• Host and manage customer led audits, working with the relevant SMEs to compile evidence, close out any findings with prompt notification to customers
• To support the broader initiatives and projects of the Compliance team as instructed by the Director of Compliance & MLRO.

Attributes and Experience Required:
• Strong working experience in compliance management, preferably in a global or multinational corporation. Prior experience in security, compliance or risk management is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of contract management principles, risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to use initiative to solve problems
• Ability to work autonomously when required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex compliance issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally with a willingness to work directly with corporate customers
• Compliance/Governance/Risk professional qualifications
• Experience working in a technology company
• Experience of working in financial services
