Costa Rica Payroll Specialist- Escazu, Costa Rica- Hybrid

Our fast-growing team in Costa Rica is looking for an experience Costa Rican Payroll Specialist, this position will be responsible for the successful processing of Costa Rica’s Payrolls for a SAAS based provider of global payroll. The position requires experience in Costa Rica payrolls that includes a working knowledge of taxes and local taxation.
As part of your daily activities, you will ensure the accuracy of data and process payrolls in accordance with all established statutory requirements and internal processes.

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

• Processing multiple CR payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently
• Provide support to clients on all payroll related matters to ensure the highest level of service, including acting as a back-up covering for holidays or emergencies
•Maintain payroll information and records on the CloudPay payroll application
• Research discrepancies of payroll information and / or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures
• Prepare reports, tax filings, correspondence and other written materials for compliance with statutory CR authorities
• Compiles and files required reports for relevant government agencies

Costa Rica Payroll Specialist, the person in this position will ensure the accuracy of payroll and payroll-related information for internal & SSAE 16 audits, in addition to processing payrolls in accordance with all established statutory requirements and internal processes and ad-hoc duties as needed and able to work collaboratively with Cloudpay global payroll operations team.

Attributes and Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Costa Rica Payroll
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent time management, administration skills and attention to detail
• Responsible for prioritizing client’s payroll and delivering payrolls as required
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
• Team player with ability to share information and interact positively with others
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Assertive action and decision-making skills
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
