Philippines Statutory Specialist – Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines – Hybrid

The Philippines Statutory Specialist is responsible in processing and filing the monthly remittances in accurate and in timely manner. Knowledgeable on how to process the monthly statutory as well as year-end process for BIR submission and compliance. Provides updates and/or changes in Statutory process and ruling.

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

● Will be in charge in preparation of Monthly Remittances for SSS, HDMF, PHIC & BIR.
-SSS PRN for Contribution & Loans
-SPA for PHIC
-BIR1601C & BIR1603 (Quarterly)
-HDMF remittance list report and MCL generation for Contribution & Loans
-Online payment facility submission or uploading

● Updating or reporting of New Hire & Leaver to Government Agencies either thru online portal or manual submission.
● Responsible in posting and updating of monthly contribution and loans.
● Monitor and provide updates in any circular, advisory, memorandum and new ruling released by the concerned Government Agencies.
● Assisting in checking and validating Government numbers.
● Assisting in annualization and year-end process
-Reviewing alphalist report
-Filing of 1604C and 1604F
-Generation & validation of dat file as well as email submission thru BIR e-submission
-Validation and DVD-R saving of employee BIR 2316
-Validation of Year-end supporting documents and requirements
-BIR onsite branch submission of BIR 2316 together with year-end supporting documents.

● Maintaining Confidentiality of Employee Files
● Coordinate with customers, service partners, and other external authorities with regards to statutory-related processes, concerns, payments, reports, etc.

Attributes and Experience Required:

● Strong hands-on experience in statutory processing & online payment processing for SSS, PAG-IBIG, Philhealth, BIR.
● Statutory reporting experience
● Philippines Labor law in terms of Compensation and Benefits knowledge a plus
