We are looking for a dynamic individual for a new role in our newly created team to lead the development and execution of the vision and strategy for our Payments product, collaborating cross-functionally to drive the success of the product across the entire product lifecycle. Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the payments services that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats and make data-driven decisions to drive product innovation and differentiation.
  • Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, create business cases to prioritise strategic investment and create a roadmap that delivers value to our customers and drives business growth.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across teams to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Performance Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and product initiatives by forming a deep understanding of the key product engagement and usage trends to drive continuous improvement and shape the strategy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate product updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and customers. Capable of coaching and driving product-led methodologies across the business.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for their needs and ensuring that our products deliver exceptional value and user experience.
The ideal candidate is passionate about payroll, payments and technology, is customer-focused and has empathy with payroll & finance teams and possesses strong analytical and leadership skills.
 
Attributes and Experience Required:
  • Degree level qualification in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or similar preferred
  • Strong experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a technology company.
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies, preferably agile and proficient in product management best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences and be the product champion internally and externally.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive product strategy.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with SaaS products Payments services or cloud-based technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with product management tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
