Senior Manager, Alliances – UK or Spain – Remote

Alliance partners play a vital role in the delivery of CloudPay’s growth ambitions. The role of the Strategic Alliances team is to build and leverage strategic relationships with Alliances partners in the broader HCM ecosystem, in order to amplify CloudPay presence and accelerate our growth. The team works alongside our Product organisation who are focused on maintaining and strengthening our best in class integrations with leading HCMs.

Our growing team is looking for an experienced Strategic Alliances professional who is knowledgeable and passionate about collaborating to solve some of our clients’ most complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience with Human Capital Management industry.

As a Strategic Alliances Manager, you will play a vital role in accelerating CloudPay’s growth through developing the overall partner ecosystem, especially with major HCM platforms and other relevant partners such as System Integrators. You will manage external partners and collaborate with internal teams to ensure market development and partner alignment. You will be focused on maintaining and strengthening awareness in the ecosystem of CloudPay’s unique value proposition, drive demand in the form of qualified leads and deal influence for our sales team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams within CloudPay and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to and pinpoint the mutual value of partnerships and achieve strategic revenue goals. Additionally, you will participate in partner conferences and industry events, both in-person and virtual.

Key to your success is your network of contacts from major software partners (such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, HiBob) and companies that are in the ecosystem of these software partners, especially Systems Integrators.

We require strong communication and relationship-building skills, the motivation to achieve success despite obstacles, and a natural ability to adapt to rapidly changing market dynamics. You will need a unique combination of strategic thinking and executional excellence. A keen commercial eye and growth orientation will be vital, alongside an entrepreneurial spirit.

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
• Building and executing a partner strategy for 1 – 2 key HCM partners and ecosystem, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Product. This includes:
• Managing cross-functional partnership relationships
• Articulating the value proposition of the partnership and fostering understanding of join solutions and client opportunities
• Identifying and delivering creative ways to deliver on key Alliance KPIs and drive the ultimate goal of contributing to revenue growth
• Handling multiple projects with a sense of urgency and ownership
• Collaborating across the Alliances team to identify opportunities to elevate our approach to managing partners to driver better outcomes
• Playing an active role in driving value from and attending partner conference and industry events
• Fostering a strong team environment and building the Alliances brand within CloudPay

Attributes and Experience Required:
• Extensive experience in building and managing software solution technology partnerships
• Demonstrable familiarity with the HCM market (which may include experience with SIs and advisory consulting companies) and established networks
• Strong networks in Oracle, SAP, Workday or related SIs a strong plus
• Demonstrable experience including alliance establishment, alliance management, revenue goal attainment and partner marketing
• Experience driving successful referral relationships that do not always have a monetary incentive to offer the partner; influence by educating partners on the value of the partnership,
• Ability to establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders and align teams across regions
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in diverse cultures
• Keen ability to synthesize the benefits to partner teams (especially sales) and influence them to want to meet and build relationships
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
• Proficient in influencing matrixed organizations and client account teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for taking initiatives from ideation to impact
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Travel (50%) expected across assigned region, and occasionally international.
