There will be no conference activities on Thursday, October 10. We encourage you to use this day for your return travel or to further explore the beautiful city of Athens.
Getting from the Airport to the Hotel
The trip from Athens International Airport to the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso hotel takes around 30-35 minutes. We recommend using ride-hailing apps like Uber or Bolt for your transportation. These services allow you to set up your payment in advance and provide you with receipts for your rides.
However, if you would prefer to get a taxi, the official taxi rank is located just outside Exit 3 of the Arrivals level. Look for yellow taxis with a “TAXI” sign, and ensure the meter is reset when you start the ride.
Most taxis should accept card payments, but occasionally the card machines may not be working, so it’s best to check with the driver before your ride. While tipping isn’t mandatory, rounding up the fare for good service is a common practice in Athens.

Where You’ll Stay
The Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso is located in the heart of the Athenian Riviera, in Vouliagmeni, a coastal area in the southern suburbs of Athens stretching to Cape Sounio. Expect pleasant temperatures with daytime highs reaching around 80°F (approximately 27°C) during the event.
Check-In Information:
- If you’re arriving before Monday at 9 AM, please check in at the hotel’s reception desk and mention that you are participating in the CloudPay conference. This will help the hotel ensure you can remain in the same room throughout your stay.
- If you’re arriving on Monday after 9 AM, you can check in and collect your badge directly at the CloudPay hospitality desk, which will be clearly signposted and located just by the hotel’s reception desk. Please ensure you bring one form of photo ID to collect your pass.
Dress Code
The dress code for the event is business casual for all guests. This means you can choose comfortable yet polished attire, such as dress shirts, polo shirts, blouses, slacks, or smart dresses. Smart jeans and trainers are also acceptable, so wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
Please note that the welcome reception on Monday evening will take place in the garden, which has grass. To ensure your comfort while mingling on the lawn, we recommend avoiding high heels.
Additionally, Wednesday night is the closing party, so feel free to dress for a party if you wish!

Night One: Welcome Reception
Kick off your Paymakers experience at our exclusive welcome reception on the first night. Join the CloudPay team and connect with fellow global payroll leaders in the Paymakers community. Enjoy delicious refreshments while catching up with old friends and making new connections.

Night Two: Networking by the Riviera
Join us for dinner and an evening of networking at Agora Riviera Restaurant, located in the scenic area of Kavouri in Vouliagmeni. Set against the serene backdrop of the Athenian Riviera, this venue offers the perfect ambiance for engaging conversations.

Cuisine: A selection of exquisite local dishes
Transportation: We have arranged transfers from the hotel to our evening event location, so you won’t need to arrange your own transportation. The CloudPay team will provide details on where to meet for the coach at the end of the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Night Three: A Memorable Evening to End the Week
Join us as we wrap up our event with a special surprise that offers a unique glimpse into Athens. We can’t reveal too much just yet, but we promise it will be an unforgettable experience!

After the surprise experience, we’ll continue the celebration at Eleon Loft.
Transportation: We have arranged transfers from the hotel to our evening event location, so you won’t need to arrange your own transportation. The CloudPay team will provide details on where to meet for the coach at the end of the conference on Wednesday afternoon.
