As a Workday certified partner since 2012, we’re very excited to be joining them as a Gold Sponsor next week at the Workday Rising event in San Francisco.
Taking place at the Moscone Center between September 26 - 29, the event promises to be an excellent showcase of everything new with Workday and their partners. We’re especially looking forward to hearing from many of the amazing companies that have implemented Workday software.
It’s also a brilliant opportunity to network with other HR and tech professionals and hear from thought leaders in both the Workday and the wider tech space.
What to expect at Workday Rising
Workday Rising is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Workday's latest innovations and hear about their commitment to provide solutions with AI and machine learning built into the core. The event emphasizes the responsibility and uncertainty that come with generative AI. It aims to bring together professionals to discuss how to navigate the uncertainty that comes with the AI revolution while maintaining the balance between art and science in their businesses.
The event boasts an impressive lineup of over 500 speakers, 400 sessions, 150 partners, and influential figures, including James Cameron, Adena Friedman, and Sunny Bedi.
Furthermore, Workday emphasizes its strong community aspect, highlighting the importance of relationships, scientific insights, and idea-sharing in supporting businesses as they navigate the evolving business landscape.
Must-see sessions, talks and seminars
The calendar at Workday Rising is packed, but everyone can catch the Innovation Keynote, ‘Let’s Shape How the Future Works.’ Centered firmly around generative AI, the keynote will set the tone for Workday Rising and explore how the relationship between AI and payroll can enhance human resource management, rather than replace or change it completely.
Another one we are looking forward to is the ‘Global HR and Workforce: Strategy and Vision’ talk. Covering the future of HR, this session takes a deep dive into the impact that technology will have on payroll implementation and strategy, and what can be done proactively now.
And of course, the top must-see is our speaking session, ’How Medtronic Accelerated Workday Adoption and Transformed Payroll with an Integrated Global Solution’ at 12pm on September 27. During the session Leah Saarela, Senior Global Payroll Director at Medtronic, talks to Sammy Molinaro, CloudPay’s Senior Manager, Solutions Consulting, about how Medtronic used our global pay platform and certified Workday integration to transform payroll, boost Workday adoption and elevate its payroll team.
Ask the Expert Sessions with Leah Saarela from Medtronic - CloudPay Booth #112 - every day between 1:00 and 1:30pm
There will be an opportunity to talk further with Leah about her experiences transforming payroll and boosting Workday adoption at the CloudPay booth, #112, on both Wednesday and Thursday between 1 and 1:30pm.
Live Demos – CloudPay Booth #112 – every day at 10:30am and 3:00pm
We’d also recommend catching the other sessions we’ll be running too, of course! Join us for demos of our certified integration with Workday and see why Workday customers in over 100 countries have chosen CloudPay to unify their global HCM and payroll systems and reap the benefits that come from having a single source of information with automated, standard processes. In addition, we will be demonstrating our award-winning payroll technology.
Ask the Expert Sessions with Tom Stephens from Wells Fargo - CloudPay Booth #112 – every day at 11:30am
And last, but not least, don’t miss the ‘ask an expert’ sessions with our mutual Workday/CloudPay customer, Tom Stephens - Workday Product Owner at Wells Fargo.
Wells Fargo are implementing a Workday HCM integration, so Tom’s insights and experiences are invaluable for those who are considering, or are in the middle of, their own payroll project. We are delighted to have this savvy payroll enthusiast at our booth to talk to you about his experiences.
Remember to view and save the Workday Rising full event calendar.
Catch up with CloudPay
As well as catching the sessions we are involved in, we would love to see everyone at booth #112 during the event. Please drop by and catch up with product experts, ask questions, discuss event topics, or just say hi!
We’ll be happy to take you through our Workday certified bi-directional PECI integration and show you the many features, as listed in the GPC Partners Feature Adoption Matrix, we support. For example, how we fully support changes made to the HCM data and pull them through daily to the payroll system; including amongst others, corrections; rescinds, leave of absence and time tracking.
We are also sponsoring a number of after-hours events:
