CloudPay Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

1. Introduction

At CloudPay, we are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains. As a global payroll provider, we recognise our responsibility to ensure fair and ethical labor practices in the employment processes we support, including payroll processing and associated payments and compliance management across multiple jurisdictions.

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, as well as relevant international labor standards, and outlines the steps we have taken to prevent modern slavery within our operations and supply chains.

3. Our Policies and Commitments

We uphold a strict zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking. CloudPay’ s policies and procedures are documented, internally published and controlled electronically. All policies follow the principles outlined in the CloudPay Combined Code of Conduct & Ethics that is a cornerstone of governance and culture for the company. Each new employee receives guidance on the Code in conjunction with the employee handbook as part of the induction process. The code is supplemented with CloudPay’ s Whistleblowing Policy and CloudPay’ s Risk Management Framework. Responsibility for updating policies and procedures lies with the head of each department. The policies and procedures are applicable to all CloudPay employees and contractors acting on behalf of the company.

4. Due Diligence in Our Supply Chain and Risk Assessment

As a global payroll provider, our supply chain includes:

  • Local payroll processing partners
  • HR technology and compliance platforms
  • Banking and financial services providers

To assess and mitigate modern slavery risks within our operations and partnerships, we have implemented:

  • Enhanced due diligence processes for onboarding payroll and payment partners in high-risk regions, outlined in CloudPay’ s Third Party Risk Management Policy.
  • Contractual obligations requiring all partners to comply with international labor standards and our ethical employment policies.
  • Regular audits and compliance checks on adherence to contractual obligations within our supply chain.

5. Measuring Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement

To track our progress in combating modern slavery, we measure:

  • Compliance audit results for payroll and payment partners.
  • Reports received through our whistleblowing platform related to unethical labor practices.
  • Corrective actions taken when issues are identified in supply chain assessments.

We are committed to continuous improvement, and we will review and update our policies and due diligence processes annually to enhance our impact.
