Established by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 27001 is the most widely accepted security standard in the world for information security management systems. Companies that achieve this certification demonstrate that they have the technology, infrastructure and internal processes to comply with these strict standards of how sensitive information is protected. As CloudPay’s technology is used to manage the global payroll and payments processing for many of the world’s largest multi-national organizations, the company’s recertification highlights its commitment to protecting such sensitive information.
CloudPay first achieved ISO 27001 certification in 2010 and was recertified subsequently in 2013. In its latest ISO 27001 compliance audit, the company was once again found to have no non-conformances with the standard. This re-certification is particularly important, as it followed the company’s relocation of its U.K. officeto a new facility and shows CloudPay’s continued diligence in maintaining the highest level of control and security possible.
