CloudPay Marks Three Decades of Progress
CloudPay is celebrating three decades of progress, innovation and leadership in global payroll and payments.
The milestone comes at a time of significant change for global payroll, with expanding workforces, increasing regulatory requirements and rising expectations for visibility and control.
Over three decades, CloudPay has driven the shift towards more connected and unified global payroll operations, combining payroll, payments, technology, managed services and specialist expertise.

Roland Folz,
CEO at CloudPay
“For 30 years, our customers have trusted CloudPay with one of their most critical operations. I want to thank every customer who has been part of that journey, as well as our people and partners who have made it possible.
Payroll has changed enormously over that time and so have we. We have always looked for ways to move the industry forward, challenge established approaches and solve real customer problems. That ambition is as strong today as it was 30 years ago.”
CloudPay’s commitment to shaping the future of managed global pay is reflected in their continued investment in payments, Pay On-Demand, foreign exchange, automation, API connectivity and AI.
That commitment was recognised earlier this year when CloudPay was named Global Payroll Supplier of the Year at the Global Payroll Awards, adding to a long track record of industry recognition for innovation, technology and customer value.

Today, CloudPay supports some of the world’s leading enterprise brands through its managed global pay approach with an NPS of +21, reflecting the strength of its customer relationships and service.
Roland added: “Thirty years is an important milestone, but we are very much focused on what comes next. We will continue to invest in our technology, our people and new capabilities that move global payroll forward and deliver greater value for our customers.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to CloudPay’s success over the past 30 years. We have achieved a great deal together, and there is much more still to come.”
